Summer Everyday Makeup

Hey guys,
I've been super busy with some work stuff, but I have a great post for you guys. Summer Everyday makeup!

Summer Makeup is so confusing for people, because everyone says different stuff, so I wanted to come up with a look that you can wear everyday or night and not look overdone.

Hayden is  my summer makeup icon, she knows how to work summer!

Moisturize SUN SCREEN AND PRIME NEVER FORGET THESE STEPS.
Start with a dewey skin, stick to tinted moisturizers/sheer/medium coverage foundations. Use a concealer instead to conceal any blemishes or acne.

Make sure to powder your face if you get a little oily.

Fill in your brows lightly, because nothing is unsexier then oscar the grouch eye brows that are smeared all over your face.

Skip the contouring and use a highlighter on your cheeks and nose area. Use concealer if you like a less shimmery look.

Skip the eye shadows for everyday and apply some liner and mascara instead. Dab a little color lip gloss or NYX matte lip creame and your ready to go.

For a night out, try applying a shimmery bronze color or gold all over your lid, and use a matte brown in your crease to define and deepen. You can even use a darker matte color eye shadow to define your crease. Add a little rouge to your lips and you're look is summer ready and very fresh faced.

V.S model Makeup Trick

Everyone wants to know what is the Secret behind Victoria's Secret Makeup!

There are at least 2 thousand Youtube tutorials trying to imitate the look, but they just never quite get it right. Well ladies I'm here to give you the one ingredient, that will blow your mind.

It's the simplest thing, yet no body has ever thought about it.

Victoria's Secret makeup artist base the gorgeous girls look on ; *Drum Roll* THE MODELS

Yes It's just that simple.
They don't have a set look, they simply have a style such as Natural with lots of contour/highlights.

Look at each of the models, they all have different makeup. The middle model has pinker eye shadow, while the one on the right has brown eye shadow.
It's all about individual beauty, its about making the girls look 100x better version of themselves.
The makeup artist work a more natural but with a glamor touch, they add sexy individual lashes, some black mascara and lots of highlight to give them the angelic glow.

Here are some of my tips:
  • Highlight is EVERYTHING to the angels, because you can't be an angel without a heavenly glow.Use a highlighter that works for your undertone.. Warm go for Gold / Cool go for Pink
  • Lips are never overpowering and dark...Always go for a color close to your natural lip color, just slightly pinker..dab a little pink/clear gloss or balm over it.
  • Lashes are EVERYTHING..but go for individual, they look more natural, and you can wear TONS without looking like a porcupine

  • BRONZER...An angel wouldn't be caught dead without a sun kissed tan or a gorgeous glow. Even if you're on the darker side, you have to use a nice tan, it will bring that glow to you.
  • Fill in your brows, but be subtle..no one goes for Oscar the Grouch look in the show.
  • Go easy on the Foundation, go for a Sheer-medium coverage one like Nars Sheer Glow or Maybelline Fit me
  • Make use of a concealer, as that will help you use less foundation and cover your imperfections.

  • Perfect your liner, you want to make sure you're not winging it too much if your eyes are not suitable for it. My eyes are HORRIBLE with winged liner, so I stop right at the end.
  • Pick a shade of eye shadow that is neutral and complimenting your eye color and skin.

Here are some of the models, rocking out their own individual makeup looks;

Get the Look: Megan Fox Vamped up

Face:
Make sure your base is completely matte and perfect, because this look is all about the lips and the eyes, and seriously No one wants to be Edward Cullen. You want the base to be gorgeous! Fill in your Brows!

Cheeks:
Make sure to contour your cheeks with an eye shadow 2-3 shades darker than your skin, but still relatively close, so its super subtle and not noticeable. Apply like NYX Dusty Rose but very lightly, so its not over powering and the focus is on your eyes and lips.
Eyes:
Apply a gun metal matte shadow on your lids, and blend it out into your crease, Apply the same shadow on the lower lash line. Apply a black liquid liner on the top lid. Apply a black liner on the top waterline and a brown one on the lower waterline.
Make sure your lashes are luscious, apply individual lashes instead of full set. Apply a little mascara to blend and set your lashes.

Apply a sexy lip color like Nars Flame or MAC Hang Up

Apply a matte white/off white shadow on the inner corners and top of your cheeks.

Lips with a bright, citrus crush. Eyes that smolder with subtle hits of color. Cheeks aglow with sunny flashes of fuchsia. Pinks that are so bubblegum sweet, we almost get a sugar rush. Yep, spring 2011 makeup trends are heating up, and we're more than ready to take on some meltingly hot hues that really grab spring's punched up feeling (and leave winter's darker-tinged vibe behind). Here are five fresh spring 2011 makeup colors that are sure to turn up the heat pronto.

Lip Service—Coral kissers are the rock-solid shade of the season. Dive in with a super-saturated orange, or ease in with softer coral-meets-peach shades. Either end of the spectrum is a chic way to reinvent the statement lip.
