I've been super busy with some work stuff, but I have a great post for you guys. Summer Everyday makeup!

Summer Makeup is so confusing for people, because everyone says different stuff, so I wanted to come up with a look that you can wear everyday or night and not look overdone.

Hayden is  my summer makeup icon, she knows how to work summer!

Moisturize SUN SCREEN AND PRIME NEVER FORGET THESE STEPS.
Start with a dewey skin, stick to tinted moisturizers/sheer/medium coverage foundations. Use a concealer instead to conceal any blemishes or acne.

Make sure to powder your face if you get a little oily.

Fill in your brows lightly, because nothing is unsexier then oscar the grouch eye brows that are smeared all over your face.

Skip the contouring and use a highlighter on your cheeks and nose area. Use concealer if you like a less shimmery look.

Skip the eye shadows for everyday and apply some liner and mascara instead. Dab a little color lip gloss or NYX matte lip creame and your ready to go.


For a night out, try applying a shimmery bronze color or gold all over your lid, and use a matte brown in your crease to define and deepen. You can even use a darker matte color eye shadow to define your crease. Add a little rouge to your lips and you're look is summer ready and very fresh faced.

My Spring/Summer color Trend

I've been on a hunt for a sexy spring color, I'm not the one to follow trend, i like to create a trend for myself. Last summer I was obsessed with Red! My blush, nails, lipstick were all red.

This spring/summer i'm going to be rocking L'orange (orange)

I just became obsessed with NYX pumpkin blush and Milani Baked Bronzer (orangest one)
I think orange is a great color on my tanned skin, It makes me look very golden and i just have this ridiculously sexy glow.


How you can rock Orange!

Eyeshadow:

Trade in your regular old brown shadow for this spunky color, make sure to use a darker brown in your outter corner and crease for a fab summer fresh look.
 If you're really not that great with orange, opt for a sexy copper instead.

 L.A girl makes a great lipstick that has just the right amount of Orange, and comes off almost coral. it's called "pure ecstasy"

 This is my favorite blush, it gives me the sexiest summer glow without making me look oompa loompa-ish.
Its so sexy and I always get compliments on my skin..It's so sexy on tanned girls, trust me ladies you will LOVE it.

Just use a light hand.

Maybelline Fit me Foundation

Maybelline fit me is my HG foundation, I've been using it for a long time, and I absolutely love it. I have bought 4-5 bottles of this shampoo, and haven't dabble to any other foundation.

So I'm going to review it for you guys, so you guys can find your perfect fit!
I will also include some personal tips and tricks ;)

1. This foundation is Sheer-Medium coverage, but it's very buildable without looking cakey.
2. It has a great selection of colors, and a lot of them are yellow toned, so it's perfect for my warm ladies.
3. Its long lasting and Non oxidizing

6. This is great for dry skin girlies, i suggest the oily girls go for something else.
7. SPF for that extra sun protection I love

•  I use this with a stippling brush, to get that soft airbrush feel.
• Use a mattifying powder if you get a little bit oily
• Use a layer and then powder it, and then restipple some more if you want extra coverage.

Waxing story + Best/Worst Waxer

I've been obsessed with hair removal ever since I was a kid. When I wasn't allowed to shave or wax, i tried to use tape and scissors to get rid of hair...needless to say it didnt work.


 My legs are little bit less hairy then Moniques, but they are still hairy as fuck!


I absolutely hate hair, I have a weird phobia when it comes to hair, i hate it.

Feminists can kiss my hairy legs! because I really like my legs to be smooth and sexy and thats my choice...












So I paid a trip to sallys, after my sister updated me on waxing at home. I use to use Veet ready to use Wax strips, but i switched to hot wax after a talk with my sister.

Having tried

Sugaring, which really didnt work for me, and didnt even pull 2 hair out, I was skeptical to try GIGI all purpose HONEE, thinking it would be sugaring...I picked up Suddenly Smooth wax (Aloe Vera and Deluxe Cream formula)

For the 2 years that I've been waxing myself with strip wax after Veet, i had great results but the hair almost always grew back within 2 days..i was sick of it...

The hair were breaking, they werent being pulled properly and i had these hideous bumps after..which is okay considering i yanked the hair out of my skin..but seriously stubble after pulling the strip is proof enough!!

I deserve Smooth legs!


I just went to sallys today and picked up GIGI All Purpose Honee after researching it extensively, and I couldnt wait to come home and try it... I waxed my face, even though there wasnt much hair on it, i had a regrowth...and wowwwwwww GIGI pulled out those little tiny hair with ease and minimal pain...compared to DELUXE cream wax..which pulled my skin out too....I didn't prep with anything but regular baby powder...and it worked soo well..


I will update when I wax my legs, I'm saving up the hairyness for valentines day, so I can be smooth and perfect for my date..even if the wax doesn't work...i know ill have smooth legs for that day alone..:D

Truth about Moroccan Oil/Macadamia Oil *Must Read*

I've been on a fix my hair kick, with all the bleaching and dying I think it needs a whole new makeover. I have tons of split ends, and my hairs just super frizzy, and with all the raves and cheers these products get, I must say its something as women we lean towards.  *SKIP TO MOMENT OF TRUTH below for the TRUTH

"Expensive" and "Tiny Bottles" are two words came to mind when I saw these products at my local Trade Secrets store, I really wanted to buy the Oil, so I ended up buying the gift set by M academia Oil, which included a comb, sample of the macadamia deep repair mask, and full sized Shampoo and Healing Oil, this was all for about $40-50.  Great deal in my opinion when it comes to these brands.
 


I had picture day, so I hopped into the shower. I first removed all the previous gunk from my hair, with a watered down apple cider vinegar, then applied the shampoo, its actually not bad..but I wouldn't purchase it again. I get great results from Herbal Essences Yellow or Blue.
After Shampoo-ing my hair, I ripped open the Deep Repair Mask like a hungry piranha, and immediately noticed my hair felt a little dry after the shampoo. No problem, mask to the rescue!!!

I left the mask in my hair and got out of the shower, and periodically blow dried the mask for 30 minutes. I wanted to get the Salon results, so this is a great way to get it.

Results: My hair was downright AMAZING, smelled nice and was just so smooth and silky, I couldn't stop touching it.

The next day my hair was just as Stunning, As I styled my hair with a straightner, I could feel the extra silkiness come through, and it was glistening.

I raved about this product to my bestfriend for days, and on my mission to research more about the product, I found out some grimm detail. 


 I was initially so happy as my frizzy hair instantly transformed into the soft and shiny mane of my dreams. But I'm picky about what I put in my hair to keep it as healthy as possible, plus i hate relying on products to make my hair nice, I want to make it nice by giving it natural good food, not chemicals. I use products with chemicals as a treat, not an everyday thing.

Moment of Truth 

I looked up the Macadamia Oil and Moroccan oil ingredients to see how "healing" it really was,  And I was so disappointed when I discovered that the first three (!) ingredients in the list are all silicones! (Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone) No wonder my hair is shiny - I've put almost pure silicone in it!
 
 Cyclopentasiloxane I learned is not bio degradable or water soluble so to get it out of your hair you need a strong tenside (soap) - that will also dry out your hair. I also found long term silicone use can lead to your hair becoming brittle and may lead to breakage. I remember my hair stylist saying that the hair stays shiny also after you've washed it, thus testamenting to it actually doing good for your hair.

So it's mainly because because I haven't gotten rid of all of the silicone in this 'treatment' after washing. According to styleicons.com.au major brands like Moroccanoil only have 1 - 2% argan oil in their products. The rest is mostly silicone (ca 75%), artificial color, fragrances and preservatives. Basically you will suffocate your hair to death..hence the breakage
 

There's NOTHING   Natural or healing about any of these products, and these are SALON products, hence should be used once in a blue moon on special occasion like Weddings or Birthdays. I know people that religiously have been using this product, and when I told them about what this really is, they have taken it upon themselves to do research  and have refrained from using it as much as I can.


Solution:

 Stop trying to find a Quick Fix, they only work temporarily.. Put more emphasis on diet, stress and exercise, then paying money to look great. You can only use so many chemicals to look good.

The only thing that worked for me is actually Regular old Olive/Coconut/Almond Oil, its cheaper and all natural, I use it ALL over my body and my hair, and its been getting better and growing longer. I apply oil to my hair with egg for a treatment, and oil as a leave in conditioner and styling product *not too much ofcourse*. ;)

OMG is it just me or Rick Grimmes is turning into a crazy psycho path, watching the show It kind of annoyed me a little that they didn't listen to T-Dog. I think he shouldve let the prisoners in, and just locked them up and slowly brought them into the group. T-Dog is right when he told Maggie that they let their group in.

Michonne is still kind of weird, I guess I'm not being fair to the actor Danai, but I just don't like the character, I kind of even miss her "pets". The governor is turning out to be my favorite antagonist, he's such a sweet evil ahha.
BUT DAMN the deaths in this episode made me cry, and I Don't cry over a T.V SHOW/MOVIE but damnn
I fucking loved this episode, and I'm so happy the prisoners are going to be a bit more accepted.

Andrea is just boring now days, I like Andrea when she's a bad ass Bitch.

I'm liking this new Merle as well, he's a lot more calmer and Less racist, but damn.

I hope they find CAROL =(

Walking Dead S3E3 (thoughts)

Pros:
The Episode was alright, I think the character governor will bring tons action and drama this season, and hes very intimidating.
Andrea finally got screen time but she's been sick till now, and very dependent on Michonne, I liked Andrea's metamorphosis into a gun wielding bad ass that holds her own.  
Michonne is a beloved fan favorite character, but I'm not going to lie, She's not my favorite. She's kind of this new person that doesn't inflict intimidation like the governor does! You'd think she'd be more interesting, but she barely talks, and when she does it's kind of irrelevant. Shes more of Andrea's sidekick, but I really want to see what the writers have instore, so I wont completely dismiss her.
Merle is never a favorite and I think Daryl is where my heart is FOREVER!

Cons:
I hate that the episodes are so divided, they need to be a mix of both "crews", instead of one episode being only Rick's crew and one being Governors.
I don't really like that this episode didn't have much Zombies, because I absolutely LOVE zombies and I had to watch Dawn of the Dead again, to get my Zombie kick.

Overall the episode was very slow paced, and I do understand that it needed to be that way to set the story line and evolve characters, but seriously I was aching for glimpse of Rick and Daryl.

I'm still a PROUD fan of the show, and just cause one episode sucked out of the whole series so far, doesn't mean it's going downhill.
